The tale “The Sun Who Lost His Way” by Evridiki Amanatidou was presented today on the ground floor of the Central Municipal
Library of Thessaloniki by the member of Saita Publications and in charge of the
page layout (in the Greek edition) Konstantina Charlavani.
The young pupils of the first grade in the 41st
elementary school
of Thessaloniki were
informed about the fun of reading digital books, the flights with the books of
Saita Publications, which started in the summer of
2012, and how a book is created. Having found the answers to several questions
concerning digital book, they actively participated in the presentation of the
story, helping the mischievous sun Shiny find his way. That’s why at the end of
this presentation, the students celebrated with a cheerful, colourful streamer as
decoration for their classroom! Each student painted his own unique sun with
colored pencils in a sheet of cardboard. All the pictures were carefully placed
on a large piece of twine forming the beautiful streamer.
In the end, each student got a magic little bookmark
to accompany them on their flights through reading.
