Rania Kyrkintanou writes about her collaboration with Saita Publications

Once upon a time there was a Saita which flew here and there. There was also a guitar which played music. They met one day and the Saita took the guitar’s voice and traveled it free to where the wind blows, where there are no borders or limits. This small story seems false, but it is true. In this age, where our thoughts, emotions and the needs of people are calculated and then cut, sewn, restrained, and contained into small boxes to not “escape the boundaries”, there are people who create saites so dreams can fly free.

Rania Kyrkintanou was born and lives in Athens. She studied French Literature and Special Education at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her occupation is teaching Greek as a foreign language and writing
