New creator: Michael Toumanidis

Saita Publications inspired Michael Toumanidis, graphic designer-illustrator to create the work below.

Meet Michael…

Michael was born in Kavala in 1984; however, he spent his childhood in Athens and Volos. He never stopped painting and loving the image. He has studied Music Technology at the private IEK Delta in Thessaloniki, and afterwards multimedia. He continued his studies in Athens at school Vakalos with Graphic Design as his specialty, and obtained a BACHELOR OF ARTS FIRST CLASS HONOURS IN DESIGN from the University of DERBY. He has also obtained a distinction and an award. His work was chosen by the Municipality Volos, and is distinguished in a nationwide children’s competition, and in 2012 with a 2^nd Award in a student competition, for designing a logo which was organized by the nationwide union labeler producers, FINAT.

Since 2013 he lives and works in Kavalas, creating a small, creative office in the city center with many dreams and passion, for design and illustration.
