Meet Calliope…

Calliope Karvela was born in 1976 in Athens, where she grew up in, and now lives and works. She has studied in AKTO with specialization in Graphic Arts. Since then she has designed and developed corporate identities, and has designed forms and commercial entries in magazines and web pages. She was raised in a creative crafting furniture environment, which is how she came to love the construction of decorative materials (mirrors, lights, etc). At the same time, she attended seminars on creative photography, where she became a creative member in a photography group.  Later, she followed her love of painting. She attended classes, workshops and seminars on History of Art.

Her works have been displayed in group exhibitions, in cultural centers and art festivals.
