2002: The author Rita. Y Toews organizes, for the
first time, the “Read an eBook” week, «Διαβάστε ένα eBook», which aims for the public
awareness of the advantages of digital reading. The idea is adopted quickly and
embraced by readers, authors, publishers and reporters, earning international
appeal.
2012: The Library of the Department of Electronics and
Computers of AUTH participates for the first time, in the “Read an eBook” week,
by uploading, along with events and actions, a relative website.
2013: Saita Publications participates for the first
time, in the “Read and eBook” week, which is organized in March 3-9 2013, with
plenty of activities, which focus on raising awareness about reading digital
books.
2014: Saita Publications participates for the second
time, in the “Read and eBook” week, which is organized in March 2-8 2014, with
plenty of activities.
2015: Saita Publications, along with other authors,
publishers, bookworms, webpages and websites, supports the “Read an eBook”
week, which is organized in March 1-7 2015. One of the actions, which takes
place, is the «Αλφάβητο της Λογοτεχνίας»
(The Alphabet of Literature), with motivational messages for reading.
