ISBN: 978-960-629-007-7

Abstract
The papers included in this volume highlight Language Learning Strategy (LLS) use which is situated in diverse contexts (test taking, reading or writing), types (mainstream and minority education) or levels of education (pre-primary, elementary, secondary, university students). The aim is to shed light on the connection between individual differences and LLS and to explore how different contexts interact with learners in a complex way.

The volume consists of three parts. The first part offers an alternative research methodology for exploring LLS and individual differences. The second part moves on to focus on test taking and task-oriented strategies. Finally, the third part focuses on strategy instruction.
